Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus building towards return

Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus continues to make good progress in his bid for a return to full fitness.

The 28-year-old sustained ligament damage in his right knee in Dortmund’s DFB Cup final win against Eintracht Frankfurt in May and underwent successful surgery in early June, ruling him out of action until 2018.

Reus has since been hard at work on his recovery, first exercising on a treadmill before being pictured in individual training.

The winger – who recently said “I would give away all my money to be healthy again” – has been taking part in exercises with the ball since mid-December, indicating that a return to full training is not too far off.
