Manchester United shook the world last year when they splashed huge money to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus. This year, they also paid Chelsea something massive to land another top midfielder in the person of Nemanja Matic.
And if reports in the media are anything to go by, then it appears Mourinho still desire to bring another quality midfielder into Old Trafford, following his links with Valencia’s Carlos Soler.
Some days back, there were reports that the Old Trafford club wants to sign the player for next season for a fee of £30M.
Moreover, Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo claimed United will have to convince the midfielder and pay his release clause that is worth €80million to get his signature.
And according to the latest update provided by Don Balon, Carlo’s side are aware that a club is ready to activate his release clause of €80M (£70.4million) for his signature, and the club in question is premier league heavyweights Manchester United.
It was also added that Mourinho is confident the 20-year-old will perfectly fit into his team at United and is ready to do all he could to bring him to the premier league.
This season so far in the La Liga, Carlos, in 10 games, has scored a goal and has provided 4 assists for his teammates too.
