Nigeria defender William Troost-Ekong is ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup draw but has asked his 21,900 followers on Twitter which team they want the Super Eagles to be drawn against, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The draw will hold at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow from 4pm Nigerian time today (Friday).
Ekong, who is currently nursing an injury, played every minute in all six group games for Nigeria during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Busaspor defender tweeted: “Ready for the @FIFAWorldCup draw today. Who would you want in our group?”
Nigeria, in Pot 4, will draw one of France, Belgium, Russia, Portugal, Poland, Brazil, Germany, Argentina from Pot 1 and one team each from Pots 2 and 3.
The 24-year-old defender is almost a sure bet to be in the Super Eagles squad to the World Cup in Russia barring injury or alarming loss of form.
