Ryan Fraser has admitted that he is flattered by reports linking him with a transfer from Bournemouth to Arsenal this summer.
Various reports in the British media this week have suggested that the Gunners are weighing up a potential move to bring the 25-year-old to The Emirates this summer as Unai Emery looks to bolster his squad.
Arsenal are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of Emery’s second campaign in charge.
Fraser has been a top performer for Bournemouth this season, scoring six goals and making 10 assists in 32 Premier League games for the north London side.
The midfielder has now admitted to being flattered by the reports, but he insists that he is simply focused on performing for Bournemouth for now.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Fraser said: “I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice. It means you are are doing something right.
“They are a huge club, a massive club. When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.
“I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.”
Arsenal will return to Premier League action on Sunday when they travel to Everton in the top flight.
The north London side currently find themselves in fourth place in the Premier League table as they eye Champions League qualification for next season.
