Imminent Exit: Pogba Focused On New Challenge

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has set his sights on leaving the club this summer after the Red Devils missed out on Champions League football for next season.

This is according to the publication from popular media channel ESPN which claimed that Pogba is already looking for a new challenge elsewhere after it was confirmed that Manchester United will miss out on competing with the big boys next season.

Manchester United missed out on Champions League football after the 1-1 draw at Huddersfield Town on Sunday.

Scott McTominay gave Manchester United the lead in the seventh minute before the home side earned a share of the spoils through a goal from Isaac Mbenza on the hour mark.

The result ensured that the Red Devils won’t finish in the top four this season.

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer and a lack of Champions League football at Old Trafford next season might have given him the ammunition needed to make his transfer a reality.

According to the aforementioned report, he will start talks with the Manchester United hierarchy as soon as the Premier League season ends next week.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are in pole position to sign Pogba and the player also wants to join the reigning European champions.
