Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has revealed that it would be difficult for Arsenal attacker to play for the team.
Rohr made this known in an interview with Sporting Life as he said that it would be difficult for players that have played for the junior teams of England to feature for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Super Eagles head coach has seen the Chelsea duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori slip through his fingers and Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka could follow suit.
Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori have previously played for the England junior teams and both players have been in very good form for Chelsea this season thus leading to the England invitation from manager Gareth Southgate.
Tammy Abraham has previously played for the England team on two occasions but he’s still eligible for other countries as long as he has not represented the Three Lions in a competitive game.
Just like Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori, Bukayo Saka has made a great start to the season for Arsenal.
The Arsenal attacker has found his way into the starting XI on the back of his impressive performances this season.
He has scored just once and also provided three assists for Arsenal this season.
