Manchester United have discovered the amount needed to pay to price one of their midfield targets from his club.

Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has emerged as a transfer target for Rennes this season after the young player broke into the first team earlier this season.

The 17-year-old has earned rave reviews for his impressive performances for Rennes this season and that has led to the interest of bigger European sides like Manchester United and Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona.

According to the report from the Daily Mail, Eduardo Camavinga has a release clause of £51m in his Rennes contract at the moment.

Eduardo Camavinga has featured in all the league games for Rennes this season and was recently called up to the French u21 team as a replacement for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi who had stepped up to the senior national team squad.

Matteo Guendouzi replaced injured Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi in the team.

Manchester United are expected to bolster their squad in the midfield area when the transfer reopens in the next few weeks and Eduardo Camavinga is an option for them.

Other midfield targets for the Red Devils include Leicester City star James Maddison and West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
