Manchester United have made the addition of a striker their top priority in the transfer window in the summer. The club was in mini crisis when topscorer Marcus Rashford suffered a long-term injury earlier in the season before the current Coronavirus episode.
Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku was the main central striker at Manchester United before the Belgian moved to Italy last summer. The aforementioned Rashford shared striker duties with Lukaku before the move to Inter Milan at the start of the present season but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer decided to start the England international on the wings this season in favour of Anthony Martial as the central striker.
Manchester United didn’t replace Lukaku in attack and that left a big hole in the team especially when Rashford suffered an injury earlier in the year. The Red Devils had to sign an emergency loan cover in Nigerian striker Odion Jude Ighalo who has done well in his short time at his boyhood club.

Ighalo has done well but Manchester United want a long-term option in attack and that could arrive this summer with several targets linked with the club. Here are the main central targets:
1. Harry Kane
The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been strongly linked with Manchester United this summer but the North London club is not ready to part with their star player.
2. Moussa Dembele
Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is the subject of a €70m bid from Manchester United according to several media platforms last week. Lyon have not qualified for Europe for the first time in over two decades and that could impact on the club as regards to the sale of key players like Moussa Dembele and Houssem Aouar. The big players at Lyon would want to play European football next season.
3. Timo Werner
The RB Leipzig attacker is also a target for Manchester United but the player only wants to move away form his club to European champions Liverpool.
