Philippe Coutinho’s agent has opened up on why his client is yet to seal his dream move to the English Premier League this summer transfer window.

From all indication, Philippe Coutinho will be clubless this summer window as his owners are not interested in keeping him at the club while Bayern Munich might not keep him for another loan term while a permanent buy is not an option.

Barcelona wants Philippe Coutinho to find a new club and he has made it clear that he wishes to return to the English Premier League and the Emirates Stadium has been reported as the likely destination.

His agent Kia Joorabchain has now come out to open up on why there has been no concrete deal for his client despite his wish to return to Premier League because he loves the league.

He revealed that financial issues and the situation of the COVID is affecting a deal for Philippe Coutinho because his weekly wage will have to be largely considered.

The Gunners already have a huge wage burden at the club, especially now that Willian’s £220,000 adds to the existing £350,000 Mesut Ozil and £200,000 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang weekly wages.

It is now unclear if the Gunners will continue with their interest in Philippe Coutinho but that will be known after the Champions League as he is involved with Bayern Munich.
