Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly targeting the signing of two players in the January transfer window especially after the injury setback suffered by both Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.
Scottish international Scott McTominay suffered an injury during the first half of the Boxing Day clash at home to Newcastle United in the Premier League and he was subsequently replaced at halftime by French World Cup winner Paul Pogba who made his second successive appearance since returning from an ankle injury.
Pogba has not played since that Newcastle United game on Boxing Day with his manager revealing that he might need to undergo surgery as advised by his people.

He has played just eight games for Manchester United this season with seven of those coming in the Premier League.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talked about the possible operation for Paul Pogba during his post-match press reaction to the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday night.
He also hinted that the Red Devils might need to make one or two signings to make up for the injuries in his team especially at the midfield.
James Garner and Dylan Levitt are the only midfield options left for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer apart from Fred and Nemanja Matic who both started the Arsenal game.
