MOHAMED SALAH has caught the attention of Real Madrid, according to his international manager.
Liverpool’s star playmaker has been in sublime form under Jurgen Klopp since arriving in the summer.
The Reds paid nearly £40m to bring the former Chelsea flop to Anfield from Roma.
But it has proved an astute signing, with Salah having notched a staggering 17 goals already in all competitions.
The 25-year-old forward’s performances for club and country have earned him plenty of recognition.
And it appears the Egyptian has made his way on to Real’s radar.
Egypt head coach Hector Cuper is aware the Liverpool talent is a wanted man at the Bernabeu.
“I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah,” Cuper told ON Sport TV in Egypt.
“But let’s not rush things.
“To me, he is in an amazing position right now.”
Salah is set to play today against Brighton (3pm).
But Liverpool could face a battle to keep him in the long run if his incredible form continues.
They are already having to fight hard to stave off interest from Barcelona in playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
And Salah is one they certainly won’t want to see quickly snatched away.
Next summer, Salah will be performing on the biggest stage when he represents Egypt at the World Cup in Russia.
