Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has debunked widespread media reports which claimed that he had a row with buddy Romelu Lukaku after the weekend’s league win at home to struggling Premier League outfit Southampton.
Pogba laughed off those reports via the post on his official Instagram handle.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku had earlier dismissed the aforementioned report that revealed that he had a clash with Pogba.
The Sun had claimed that an unnamed source said both players had a row over the penalty miss from Pogba in the game against Southampton and that they had to be separated by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Paul Pogba missed a late penalty for the Red Devils during the 3-2 Premier League win over the Saints at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman took the penalty with Lukaku on a hattrick having scored two goals to help his team overturn a 1-0 deficit against Southampton at halftime.
Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku have been in top form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the Manchester United manager in December.
Pogba scored just five goals under the sacked Jose Mourinho in almost five months in comparison with nine goals in 15 games with Solskjaer in charge.
Lukaku has scored seven goals in 14 games under Solskjaer in comparison with two goals in his last 17 games before Mourinho was sacked.
